Tour Scotland short 4K Autumn travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and sporran and walking by Loch Duich on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the Highlands, Britain, United Kingdom. Loch Duich is a stunning sea loch on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands, famous for its dramatic scenery and its proximity to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. The loch is a popular destination for tourists, nature enthusiasts, and photographers. The loch is surrounded by the rugged mountains of Kintail and Glen Shiel. The mountain slopes continue underwater to form deep basins on the sea loch's floor. Its name comes from the Scottish Gaelic Loch Dubhthaich, meaning " Dubhthaich's Loch, " after an 11th-century saint. This is arguably the area's most famous landmark, located on a small tidal island where the three sea lochs meet. Autumn leaf color or colour is a phenomenon that affects the normally green leaves of many deciduous trees and shrubs by which they take on, during a few weeks in the Autumn season, various shades of red, yellow, purple, black, orange, pink, magenta, blue and brown. The phenomenon is commonly called autumn colours or autumn foliage in British English and fall colors, fall foliage or simply foliage in American. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome
