Tour Scotland 4K travel video, with Scottish music of a short walk to the Maggie Wall Witch Monument on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Dunning, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. Maggie Wall burnt here 1657 as a witch. She was one of over four thousand women executed for witchcraft in Scotland during the 16th and 17th Centuries. Located west of Dunning, by the B8062 road to Auchterarder. Despite the mystery surrounding Maggie Wall's identity and the monument's origins, it remains a significant and moving site that acknowledges the injustices suffered during the Scottish witch trials. Visitors often leave tributes at the monument, and its inscription is mysteriously and regularly repainted. The monument is also believed to be the only one of its kind in Scotland dedicated to an accused witch. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome
