Tour Scotland short 4K travel video clip, with Scottish music, of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and walking by Loch Torridon on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to the North west Highlands, Britain, United Kingdom. Scottish Gaelic: Loch Thoirbheartan, it is a sea loch on the west coast. The loch was created by glacial processes and is in total around 15 miles long. The surrounding mountains are composed of ancient rocks, including Torridonian sandstone and Lewisian Gneiss. The area was impacted by the Highlands Clearances in the 19th century, particularly when the estate was sold to Colonel McBarnet, who cleared tenant farmers to make way for sheep farming. Loch Torridon was named after Saint Maelrubha. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. @tourscotland #scotland #music #shortsvideo #highlands
