The driver in the car heading towards me should have pulled in at the passing place it just drove past, requiring me to reverse my car to another passing place. A single track road or one lane road is a road that permits two way travel but is not wide enough in most places to allow vehicles to pass one another, although sometimes two compact cars can pass. This kind of road with passing places is common in rural areas across the United Kingdom and elsewhere. As is often the case there are bad drivers on the road, and if you meet one, you just have to be patient. The date for astronomical spring is Sunday 20th March, ending on Tuesday 21st June, while by the meteorological calendar, spring will start on Tuesday 1st March.
