Road Trip Drive With Music From Fife To Cross Tay Road Bridge On Visit To Dundee Tayside Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K travel video of a Winter, sunny, but cold, road trip drive, with Scottish accordion music, through Wormit and Newport on Tay in North Fife to cross the Tay Road Bridge which spans the Firth of Tay on visit to the city of Dundee in Tayside, Britain, United Kingdom. The Tay Road Bridge carries the A92 road across the Firth of Tay from Newport-on-Tay in Fife to Dundee in Scotland, just downstream of the Tay Rail Bridge. At around 1.4 miles long it is one of the longest road bridges in Europe, and was opened in 1966, replacing the old Tay ferry. The bridge was designed by consulting engineers WA Fairhurst and Partners of Glasgow and Dundee, under the direct supervision of the firm's founding partner, civil engineer William Fairhurst. By the meteorological calendar, the first day of Winter is always 1st December in Scotland; ending on 28th of February. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
