Tour Scotland 4K Spring travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish music, North on the B9131 route from Anstruther in the East Neuk, through Dunino, on history visit to the old golf course in St Andrews, Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. At the end of the video you will see me drive across Granny Clark's Wynd on the Old Golf Course in St Andrews. This is the road that splits the fairways of the 1st and 18th fairways on the Old Course at St. Andrews. It is thought that no other championship course has a public road crossing two of its holes and golfers who have the misfortune of having their ball end up on the road must play it as it lies or take relief under penalty. Historically the wynd was a route for townsfolk to get to the West Sands beach. The Fife Coastal Walking Path goes through St Andrews and Anstruther and runs from the Forth Estuary in the south, to the Tay Estuary in the north and stretches for 117 miles. Spring in the northern hemisphere technically starts on the 20 March, at the equinox, and lasts until the 20 or 21 June, the Summer solstice. This is also the case in Scotland. The months that make up the Spring season are March, April and May. However, for travelling at this time of year, I will be referring to April and May. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. When driving on Scottish roads in Scotland slow down and enjoy the trip
