The wood pigeon, Columba palumbus, is the largest member of the dove and pigeon family in Great Britain, measuring about 15 inches long on average. Found in large flocks outside of breeding season, the wood pigeon eats a largely vegetable diet, foraged in open fields, gardens, lawns, including fruits, berries and grains. Just acquired this Wildlife camera to shoot motion detection videos in my garden, it appears to have reasonable microphone, so you can hear sounds as well.
