Tour Scotland 4K Winter travel video of a road trip drive in snow, with Scottish music, from the city centre of Perth over the old bridge which spans the River Tay, then through Bridgend, on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to where I live in the village of Scone, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom.. The medieval village of Scone, which grew up around the monastery and royal residence, was abandoned in the early 19th century when the residents were removed and a new palace was built on the site by the Earl of Mansfield. Hence the modern village of Scone, and the medieval village of Old Scone, can often be distinguished. By the meteorological calendar, the first day of Winter is always 1st December in Scotland; ending on 28th of February.
