Tour Scotland 4K late Autumn travel video of flooding on visit to the Public Park by Stormont Road in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. Weather forecast was for some parts of Scotland seeing as much rain in 24 to 36 hours as would be normally expected during the entire month of November. Scone village was built in 1805 as a planned village by its landowner, and was originally called New Scone. The medieval village of Scone, which grew up around the monastery and royal residence of the Palace, was abandoned in the early 19th century when the residents were removed and a new palace was built on the site by the Earl of Mansfield. Hence the modern village of Scone, and the medieval village of Old Scone, can often be distinguished. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
