Exterior And Interior Of Holyrood Palace With Music On History Visit To Edinburgh Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K travel video, with Scottish music, of the exterior and interior of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, commonly referred to as Holyrood Palace on ancestry, genealogy family history visit to Edinburgh, Britain, United Kingdom. The cortege and coffin of Queen Elizabeth II is expected to leave Balmoral Castle on Royal Deeside where the Queen died on Thursday at 10am on Sunday 11th of September 2022 the travel to the town on Ballater, where it is expected at approximately 10.12am. It is then expected to arrive in Aberdeen about an hour later, with tributes expected to be paid in the city’s Duthie Park. Travelling south along the A90, it will then arrive in Dundee at about 2pm. It will then travel to Edinburgh, past the Scottish Parliament. From there it will be taken into the Palace of Holyroodhouse, where the body of the Queen will remain for the night. Located at the bottom of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, at the opposite end to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace has served as the principal residence of the Kings and Queens of Scots since the 16th century, and is a setting for state occasions. It will be especially poignant to see Her Majesty’s coffin begin its journey from her Aberdeenshire home to the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
