Two Vintage Passenger Buses On Visit To City Centre Of Perth Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K short Summer travel video clip of two vintage passenger buses on visit to the city centre Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. A former Northern Scottish JSA 102V, Alexander and Sons Leyland Leopard and a red Perth City Transport Bus. Bus owners from the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust and the Angus Transport Group arrived in the fair city of Perth for a day with their lovingly restored vintage buses, from the fleets of the former Walter Alexander & Sons buses empire, to celebrate 61 years since 1961 which was the year of the split of the vast Alexanders buses empire into three, namely Midland (blue), Fife (red) & Northern (yellow). All three fleets met at Perth, with Midland having a depot in the city and running in from the north and south, Fife running in from the southeast, and Northern running in from the northeast. And why 61 years ? Well it was intended to do it last year for the 60 year anniversary, but couldn’t due to the pandemic. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
