Tour Scotland 4K Summer travel video of the coastal walking path on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to East Wemyss on the Firth of Forth, on the South coast of Fife. The Fife Coastal walking Path is a Scottish long distance walking footpath that runs from Kincardine to Newburgh. It runs for 117 miles along the coastline of Fife and passes through many seaside towns and villages including East Wemyss. The path would take around one week to walk completely from end to end. The Firth of Forth, Scottish Gaelic: Linne Foirthe, is the estuary or firth of several Scottish rivers including the River Forth. It meets the North Sea with Fife on the north coast and Lothian on the south. It was known as Bodotria in Roman times. In the Norse sagas it was known as the Myrkvifiörd. An early Welsh name is Merin Iodeo, or the " Sea of Iudeu." Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day.
