Tour Scotland 4K Spring travel video, with Scottish music, a road trip drive South on the A917 road from St Andrews, passed Boarhills and through Kingsbarns on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to Crail, East Neuk of Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. Crail became a Royal Burgh in the 12th century. Robert the Bruce granted permission to hold markets on a Sunday, in the Marketgait, where the Mercat Cross now stands in Crail. The decision caused such outrage in religious circles that John Knox delivered a sermon at Crail Parish Church in the Marketgait damning the fishermen of the East Neuk for working on a Sunday. Despite the protests, the markets were a huge success and were amongst the largest in Europe. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. The date for astronomical Spring is 20th March, ending on 21st June, while by the meteorological calendar, Spring starts on 1st March. When driving in Scotland slow down and enjoy the trip
