Source Of The River Tweed With Scottish Music On History Visit To The Borders Of Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K short travel video clip, with Scottish music, of the source of the River Tweed near Tweed's Well on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to the Scottish Borders. The source of the Tweed is at Tweed's Well in Peeblesshire just east of the border with Lanarkshire. It is east of the A701 road and there are forests north and south. This is very remote country although it is only a few miles north of the town of Moffat. The river runs north from here to Drumelzier where it begins to turn east towards Peebles. The river here had become holy through the sacred associations of baptism, or equally holy from grateful benefits derived from mineral qualities. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
