Tour Scotland 4K Winter short travel video clip of a windy sunset during Storm Dudley above the city on visit to Perth, Perthshire. Perth has been known as The Fair City since the publication of the story Fair Maid of Perth by Scottish writer Sir Walter Scott in 1828. During the later medieval period the city was also called St John's Toun or Saint Johnstoun by its inhabitants in reference to the main church dedicated to St John the Baptist. A weather warning was in place today for the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and also parts of Argyll and Bute, Fife, Dumfries and Galloway, Scottish Borders. Officially, the Scottish winter runs from the 21st of December through to the 20th March.
