Winter Wind And Waves On Visit To West Sands Beach St Andrews Fife Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K Winter travel video of wind and storm waves crashing onto the shore at West Sands Beach on ancestry to visit to the coast of St Andrews, Fife. Famous for the opening scenes of the film Chariots of Fire, West Sands actually extends for almost 2 miles of uninterrupted sand backed with dunes and the world-renowned golf course. West Sands is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. Officially, the Scottish winter runs from the 21st of December through to the 20th March. The Fife Coastal Path is a Scottish long distance walking footpath that runs from Kincardine to Newburgh. It runs for 117 miles along the coastline of Fife and passes through many seaside towns and villages including St Andrews. The path would take around one week to walk completely from end to end.
