Old photograph of the opening of the bridge over the River Spey at Blacksboat in Moray, Scotland. A location on the right bank of the River Spey, Blacksboat lies a half-mile west of Marypark and 1½ miles north northeast of Ballindalloch Castle. There was once a ferry cross the river here and Blacksboat Station once lay on the opposite bank on a former railway which is now the route of the Speyside Way.
