Tour Scotland Autumn travel video, with Scottish music, of a road trip drive on a single track road with passing places on ancestry, genealogy, history visit to Loch Tummel in the Highlands of Perthshire. This is a long, narrow Scottish loch, located 5 miles north west of Pitlochry. The loch is traversed by roads on both north and south banks, offering splendid views of the surrounding countryside. The loch is popular with anglers who enjoy fishing for trout and for campers and canoeists, and with photographers all year round. The area around the River Tummel and Loch Tummel is known as Strathtummel and is one of the most beautiful parts of Big Tree Country in Perthshire. When driving in Scotland, slow down and enjoy the trip. Autumn leaf color or colour is a phenomenon that affects the normally green leaves of many deciduous trees and shrubs by which they take on, during a few weeks in the Autumn season, various shades of red, yellow, purple, black, orange, pink, magenta, blue and brown. The phenomenon is commonly called autumn colours or autumn foliage in British English and fall colors, fall foliage or simply foliage in American English. The loch was part of the traditional Menzies Clan territory.
