Kilmartin Glen On History Visit Near Kintyre Argyll Scotland

Tour Scotland short travel video clip, with Scottish music, of Kilmartin Glen on ancestry, genealogy, history visit near Kintyre in Argyll. It has the most important concentration of Neolithic and Bronze Age remains in mainland Scotland. The glen is located between Oban and Lochgilphead. There are more than 800 ancient monuments within a six mile radius of the village of Kilmartin, with 150 of those being prehistoric. Monuments include standing stones, stone circles, a henge monument, numerous cists, and burial cairns. Several of these, as well as many natural rocks, are decorated with cup and ring marks.
