Easter Road Trip Drive To Clock Tower And Parish Church On Visit To Braco Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland Easter Sunday travel video, with Scottish bagpipes and drums music, of part of a road trip drive, on visit to the Clock Tower and Ardoch Parish Church and graveyard in Braco, Perthshire. The Clock Tower is the remains of the Free Church which was erected at the time of the disruption in 1843. Opened for worship in 1781 as a chapel of ease, the church was originally a rectangular building. The bellcote was added in 1836 and a chancel built on the east end by William Simpson of Stirling in 1890. The most recent addition is the church hall, built 1985. Ardoch Church sits close by the famous Roman camp. All photographs are copyright of Sandy Stevenson, Tour Scotland, and may not be used without permission.
