River Fillan On Visit To The Highlands Of Scotland

Tour Scotland travel video, with Scottish music, of the River Fillan on visit to the Scottish Highlands. A headwater of the River Tay, the River Fillan is formed at the meeting of headstreams to the south of Tyndrum. It flows South East for 10 miles through Strath Fillan before entering Loch Dochart two miles East of Crianlarich. The river and valley are named after Saint Fillan who was venerated by King Robert the Bruce and whose relics were paraded before the Scottish troops before the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.
