Early Summer Mice Bird Feeder Garden Cottage Scone Perth Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland early Summer 4K travel video of mice eating lunch while paying a visit to my bird feeder in cottage garden in Scone by Perth Perthshire. There are many species of mice found in the UK, but only a few are considered pests, which pose a threat to homes and businesses. The top 2 pest mice you might encounter within a property, garage, outbuilding or shed include the House Mouse, Field Mouse. Mice have very large eyes, long tail, very large ears and a pointed snout. Most mice species have a very short life expectancy in the wild, up to a year. Mice are rodents, a scientific classification which groups animals that have a pair of continuously growing incisors. The Field mouse, Apodemus sylvaticus, thrives in woodland, rough grassland and gardens. It is cautious mouse which always sniffs anything unfamiliar before approaching. Its back feet are large which give it a good spring for leaping. Field mice tend to mostly eat seeds from trees, but they also eat snails, insects, fruit, berries, nuts and fungi.
