Old photograph of the Prince Louis Outward Bound Training Sailing Ship outside the harbour in Burghead located eight miles North West of Elgin, Moray, Scotland. The famous Danish three masted schooner, was bought by the Outward Bound Trust, Limited, for use as a cadet ship at the Moray Sea School, Burghead. She was completely re-equipped, and renamed Prince Louis, by the Duke of Edinburgh at Glasgow on June 30, 1955. The Prince Lou is replaced another sailing ship of the same name, in which the Duke received instruction in seamanship while attending Gordonstoun School.
