Autumn Road Trip Drive To Rare K3 Telephone Box Rhynd Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland late Autumn travel video of road trip drive, with Scottish music, to the rare K3 Telephone Box on visit to Rhynd, Perthshire.. The K3 was introduced in 1929. It was designed by British architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The K3 is constructed of concrete sections, bolted together, standing on a concrete base. Between 1929 and 1935 11,000 examples of the K3 were installed. They are exceptionally rare with only two remaining. A K3 at London Zoo's Parrot House in England has a Grade II listing status from English Heritage, and in Scotland, at Rhynd near Perth. A number of exported K3 kiosks can be found in Portugal.
