Autumn Afternoon Road Trip Drive To Parish Church Caputh Perthshire Scotland
Tour Scotland Autumn afternoon travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish music, East on the A984 old military road from Dunkeld on ancestry visit to the parish church in Caputh, Perthshire. This Scottish village is on the A984 Coupar Angus to Dunkeld road about 6 miles east of Dunkeld and 8 miles west of Coupar Angus. There has been a church in Caputh since the 9th century, the present one being a fine stone building, now into its third century. The building of Caputh Church was started in 1798. The church is located opposite the village hall. It is built in stone and has a slate roof, and was built by Alexander Thomson. It was renovated in 1912. One of the Ministers was the Reverend James Bannerman
