Old Photograph Liathach Torridon Scotland

Old photograph of Liathach, a mountain in Torridon, in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. The name Liathach in Scottish Gaelic, means The Grey One. When seen from the roadside below, its slopes appear to rise up in a series of near vertical rocky terraces. The Torridon landscape is itself highly denuded by glacial and alluvial action, and represents the remnants of an ancient peneplain.
