Old photograph of Crask of Aigas, a small hamlet lying 7 km southwest of of Beauly, Scotland. Crask of Aigas is located on the hill overlooking the River Beauly. The main street is a cul-de-sac with the old village smithy building at its end. The translation of the Gaelic name of the village is " The Place Before the Place Beyond. " The scattered hamlet of Aigas lies a short distance to the southwest.
