Old photograph of Ardtoe, Scottish Gaelic: Àird Tobha, on the Scottish peninsula of Ardnamurchan, in Lochaber, Scotland. It has sandy beaches with views to the island of Eigg. Ardtoe is situated at the head of the channel, which connects Kentra Bay to the sea. It has a small pier, and it affords safe harbourage to small coasting vessels. The single track road to Ardtoe, from the A861 near Acharacle, passes over Kentra Moss and skirts around Kentra Bay providing a scenic drive to the beaches.
