Old photograph of the Royal Infirmary in Stirling, Scotland. Stirling Community Hospital, formerly Stirling Royal Infirmary, was opened on 10th August 1928 by the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The original Neo Georgian block by architect James Miller, born 1860, died 1947, has subsequently been much extended, now comprising more than forty buildings on the single site.
