Old photograph of the Post Office on Station Road in Dunblane, Scotland. Dunblane is an Ancient cathedral city and former burgh on the Allan Water north of Stirling. The present Dunblane Cathedral, dedicated to St Blane, dates from the 13th century, with restorations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The town is situated off the A9 road which has been bypassed since 1991, on the way north to Perth, Perthshire.
