Doune Castle was the location that served as Winterfell during the unforgettable pilot episode of the first season of Game of Thrones. The castle was used as a stand in for the fictional Castle Leoch in the TV adaptation of the Outlander series of novels. It also in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
