Old Photograph Gartmorn Dam Scotland

Old photograph of Gartmorn Dam near Alloa, Scotland. This reservoir forms a major element of Alloa Waterworks. It was formed by damming the Brothie Burn, which formed the boundary between the parishes of Tillicoultry, to the North and Clackmanan, to the South. Gartmorn Dam now forms a countryside park, wildlife reserve and recreational area. Information boards describe its history and wildilfe and there is a visitor centre.
