Tour Scotland Travel Video Island Of Jura Inner Hebrides

Tour Scotland travel video Blog of the Island Of Jura, Scottish Gaelic: DiĆ¹ra, on ancestry visit to the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. Jura is one of the least densely populated Scottish islands. The island is dominated by three steep sided conical quartzite mountains on its western side, called the Paps of Jura. It is believed that Jura may have been Hinba, the island to which the 6th century missionary, Columba, retreated from the monastic community he founded on Iona, when he wished for a more contemplative life.
