Old Photograph Hotel Craigellachie Moray Scotland

Old photograph of a vintage car outside the hotel in Craigellachie near Aberlour located twelve miles South of Elgin, Moray, Scotland. Craigellachie, British Columbia, Canada, is named after the Scottish village and is the place where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven in November 1885. Craigellachie has two malt whisky distilleries, Craigellachie and The Macallan, and is home to the Speyside Cooperage. Blog post of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day.
