Tour Scotland Travel Video Winter Drive From Abernyte To Scone By Perth Perthshire

Tour Scotland travel video Blog of a Winter Sunday afternoon road trip drive, with Scottish accordion music, on the B953 and A94 roads from Abernyte on visit to Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. The B953 is a cross country B road in eastern Perthshire. The road was originally unclassified but had gained its present number by 1932. After passing through Abernyte the road heads West across the fields and then through a pass between two hills. The one to the right is Dunsinane, which plays an important role in Shakespeare's Macbeth. As the road descends there are a few sharp corners, after which the road becomes straighter as the terrain becomes flatter. After a mile or so we reach Balbeggie where it meets the A94 road to Scone village.
