Tour Scotland Travel Video Parish Church And Cemetery St Madoes Perthshire

Tour Scotland Autumn travel video of the Parish Church and Cemetery on ancestry visit to St Madoes, Carse Of Gowrie, Perthshire, Scotland. There are no visible remains of the medieval parish church of St Madoes. The present church was built in 1798, replacing a building apparently erected in 1610, and was extensively repaired or rebuilt in 1676. There are a number of 18th century gravestones in the burial ground. It is located near Errol, between Dundee and Perth.
