Tour Scotland Travel Video Road Trip Drive A855 Road To Old Man Of Storr Isle Of Skye Inner Hebrides

Tour Scotland travel video of a road trip drive North on the A855 mostly single track road past Loch Fada and Loch Leathan to view the Old Man Of Storr on ancestry visit to the Isle Of Skye, inner Hebrides, Scotland. The Storr is a rocky hill which presents a steep rocky eastern face overlooking the Sound of Raasay, contrasting with gentler grassy slopes to the west. The area in front of the cliffs of the Storr is known as the Sanctuary. This has a number of weirdly shaped rock pinnacles, the remnants of ancient landslips. The most famous of these, and by far the largest and most apparent when approaching from the south, is known as the Old Man of Storr, in gaelic, Bod an Stòir, meaning literally The Penis of Storr.
