Old Travel Blog Photograph Of Jamestown Railway Station Alexandria Scotland

Old travel Blog photograph of Jamestown Railway Station in Alexandria, a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Before the railway, the Vale of Leven, where Alexandria, Bonhill, and Jamestown are located, was a hub for print works and textiles, but getting goods and people out was tough, relying on Loch Lomond steamers and the River Leven. Jamestown was a key industrial village, and the station became crucial for workers, whisky, and tourists heading to Loch Lomond.
