Old photograph of thatched cottages in Glen Orchy, Argyll, Scotland. Glen Orchy was one of the major homes of Clan Gregor until the clan was outlawed in 1603 by King James VI. The Bridge at Glen Orchy was referenced in the film " Rob Roy " as the place where Robert Roy MacGregor was to be hanged at the behest of the Duke of Montrose.
