Old Travel Blog Photograph Shop And Petrol Station Dallas Scotland

Old travel Blog photograph of the shop and petrol station in Dallas, a small rural village in Moray, Scotland. Although not well known, many larger settlements around the world are named after it, including Dallas, Texas, United States, and in Australia, Dallas, a suburb of Melbourne, is named after it. The Church of St. Michael in the village dates from 1793, but is built on the site of an earlier church known from records to have been in existence in 1226. Blog post of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to travel and visit one day.
