Tour Scotland Travel Video Spring Drive From St Fillans To Lochearnhead Highland Perthshire

Tour Scotland Spring travel video of a road trip drive from St Fillans, West on the A85 route, on ancestry, genealogy, history visit to Lochearnhead in the Highlands of Perthshire, Scotland. Lochearnhead is situated at the western end of Loch Earn where the A85 road from Crieff meets the A84. Loch Earn was on the frontier between Pictland and Dalriada, or Dál Riata, the kingdom of the incoming Scots from Ireland, Dundurn at the east end of the loch being a Pictish frontier fort. This lends weight to the argument that the name Earn therefore comes from Eireann, in other words " the loch of the Irish.".
