Tour Scotland Travel Video Hot Bank Holiday Monday River Tay Perth Perthshire

Tour Scotland travel video of a hot Bank Holiday Monday on the River Tay on ancestry visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. Another Spring day of dawn to dusk sunshine and a high temperature of 26 degrees Centigrade. Hot air blowing in from Norway was once again responsible for the highest temperatures of the year so far. In the United Kingdom and Ireland a bank holiday is a public holiday, when banks and many other businesses are closed for the day. Bank holidays are often assumed to be so called because they are days upon which banks are shut, but days that banks are shut aren't always bank holidays.
