Tour Scotland night travel video of lights, for the celebration of the National Bard, Robert Burns, lit up on the riverside walk by the River Tay on visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. Burns Night is annually celebrated in Scotland on or around January 25. It commemorates the life of the bard, poet, Robert Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759. In medieval Gaelic and British culture, a bard was a professional story teller, verse maker and music composer, employed by a patron , such as a monarch or noble, to commemorate one or more of the patron's ancestors and to praise the patron's own activities.
