Old Travel Blog Photograph Loch Beinn a 'Mheadhoin Scotland

Old travel Blog photograph of Loch Beinn a 'Mheadhoin located in the Scottish Highlands in the almost uninhabited valley of Glen Affric, Scotland. South West of the town of Cannich it can only be reached from there on a narrow road. The loch is naturally fed by rapids from Loch Affric in the west. The loch also receives water from the higher Loch Mullardoch through an underground pipe, which was previously used for power generation. In the East, on the one hand, the loch drains naturally into the river Beauly, on the other hand via a pipeline that drains water to a hydropower plant near Fasnakyle near Cannich.
