He became a well renowned lecturer in economics and he is best remembered for the first serious study of economics on a massive and International scale originally titled, An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations and later abbreviated by publishers to The Wealth Of Nations. It was written at his mother’s house in the High Street of Kirkcaldy.
