Old Travel Photograph Black Cave Island Of Arran Scotland

Old travel photograph of Black Cave on the Island of Isle of Arran, Scotland. The Monster or Black Cave, the largest cave in Arran, is 80 feet high, 40 feet wide and 100 feet deep, worn out by the action of the sea. Arrow heads, chipped and polished, and flakes of flint, mingled with whelk and limpet shells, which have been found in it, indicate its use by prehistoric man. Until recently, it was used as a place of worship.
