Old Photograph Bentham Street Ardler Perthshire Scotland
Old photograph of cottages and children on Bentham Street in Ardler, Perthshire, Scotland. Bentham Street was named in honor of the influential English philosopher and social reformer Jeremy Bentham. This follows the vision of the village's founder, George Kinloch, who named Ardler's streets after political and philosophical heroes that inspired his radical politics. This Scottish village is located three miles to the east of Coupar Angus, and approximately equidistant between the latter and Meigle.
