Garden Cottage is a family run, self catering accommodation in Helensburgh. The cottage is completely private and has been maintained to a high standard. Situated just a 2 minute walk from Helensburgh seafront and 5 minutes walk to the town centre, the cottage is an ideal base for holiday makers and business travellers alike. The cottage has fully private gardens, excellent for families with children or pets, and makes a great setting for summer entertaining. Set in a quite residential area we are within easy reach of hotels, restaurants, cafes, and bars. The cottage is situated at the gateway to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, home to the famous West Highland Way. The Paddle steamer Waverley runs all summer from Helensburgh pier. Ferry trips run daily.
Maclachlan House can sleep up to 10 persons, offers a full range of facilities and is very comfortable with a driveway for 2 or more cars and there are private, safely enclosed gardens for children. Close by is the famous Charles Rennie Mackintosh Hill House and Dumbarton Castle and the always stunning Loch Lomond are only 15 to 20 mins drive away. There is a convenient local shop and both the town centre and the seafront are only a few minutes' away with many shops, restaurants and bars. Helensburgh Upper train station is a 3 minute walk away with frequent trains westward to Garelochhead and eastward to Dumbarton, Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street.
