Old photograph of Surgeon's Hall in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Incorporation of Surgeons and Barbers was established in 1505, making it one of the oldest surgical corporations in the world. Surgeons' Hall is the headquarters of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. It houses the Surgeons' Hall Museum, and the library and archive of the RCSED. The present Surgeons' Hall was designed by William Henry Playfair and completed in 1832.
