Old photograph of houses on Burrell Square in Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland. Burrell Square along with Burrell Street was developed on land belonging to the Drummond Estate after it was restored in 1785, with feuing, leasing land for building, beginning around 1809. The square and its streets were built for a growing population, including wealthy residents, and later became associated with the influential Murray family.
